ASL Interpreter | Haverhill, Massachusetts

This full-time, contract position is available for an immediate start and covers both a five-week Extended School Year (ESY) period and the upcoming academic year. You'll collaborate closely with dedicated Teachers of the Deaf (TOD) and work with students utilizing FM systems and cochlear implants.

What You'll Need:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with strong interpreting skills
• Experience supporting students in educational settings
• Familiarity with students using cochlear implants and FM systems
• Ability to collaborate with educators and related service providers
• Professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication abilities
• Relevant certification and credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter

What You'll Do:

• Provide clear and accurate interpretation between spoken English and ASL
• Support student participation in classroom instruction, activities, and discussions
• Work alongside the TOD to implement communication supports
