Organizational Relationship

Responsible to the Principal, Curriculum Supervisors, and Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee.

  • Possesses sound knowledge and understanding of the subject matter and pedagogy, consistently engaging students in learning experiences that enable acquisition of complex knowledge and skills.

  • Designs and administers a variety of informal and formal assessments, including common interim assessments, to measure student learning, growth, and progress toward standards.
  • Analyzes results to determine progress, uses findings to adjust practice, and implements differentiated interventions.

  • Draws conclusions from assessment data to improve student learning.
  • Shares findings with colleagues (general education, special education, English learner staff), seeks feedback to support improved student learning.
