Reports to the Principal and collaborates with Curriculum Supervisors and the Superintendent of Schools or their designees.

• Designs and administers informal and formal assessments, including common interim assessments, to measure students’ learning and progress toward state/local standards.
• Analyzes assessment results to determine progress and use findings to adjust practices and implement appropriate differentiated interventions.

Analysis

• Draws conclusions from a thorough analysis of assessment data to improve student learning.
• Shares findings with colleagues and seeks feedback for instructional improvement.
• Provides descriptive feedback and engages students and families in constructive conversation to improve performance.

Instruction

• Defines high expectations for student work and perseverance and provides exemplars, rubrics, and guided practice.
