We are hiring Security Guards to join our dynamic care team at The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill!
Part-time and full-time openings on 10a-6p. Weekly pay ranging from $16 to $17 an hour.

As our Security Guard, you ensure the safety and security of the residents, employees, facility, facility grounds, and equipment, and assist in maintenance as needed.
Education & Experience:- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Security experience and/or a general background in repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct an inventory of personal belongings on all admissions and safely remove and store any contraband.
- Conduct and document hourly rounds of the facility and its grounds, and report any safety concerns.
- Assist staff with room searches.
- May be assigned to a resident on a 1:1 basis.
- Respond to all emergency pages and escort responding providers to emergency location.
- Be present and assist, if needed, if and when a resident may be struggling to manage emotions.
- Ensure visitors sign in, show identification, and conduct an inventory of personal items brought in.
- Document behaviors.
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must have general knowledge of repair and maintenance practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines as they pertain to long‑term care.
- Must be willing to work harmoniously with professional and non‑professional personnel.
- Must have patience, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations using effective problem‑solving techniques.
