HR Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Generalist / Talent Management
A well-established and growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead its HR function during an exciting period of growth and expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, hands‑on HR leader who enjoys building processes, partnering with operations leadership, and making a meaningful impact across a multi‑site manufacturing environment.
This position will oversee all aspects of Human Resources for approximately 600 employees across manufacturing and production operations. Reporting to executive leadership, the HR Director will lead a growing HR team and play a key role in strengthening HR programs, ensuring compliance, supporting employee relations, and driving organizational initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead all Human Resources functions across multiple manufacturing and production locations.
- Partner with executive and operational leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth.
- Supervise and mentor an HR team while helping expand the department as the organization continues to grow.
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Manage talent acquisition, onboarding, retention initiatives, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Administer payroll through Paycom
, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Oversee employee benefits administration, leave management, and annual open enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, PFML, OSHA, wage and hour regulations, and other HR compliance requirements.
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and operational processes.
- Partner with operations and safety teams to promote employee engagement, workplace safety, and a positive culture.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide leadership with reporting and recommendations to improve workforce performance.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, food production, industrial, or distribution environments strongly preferred.
- Experience managing payroll using Paycom is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and employment law.
- Demonstrated success leading HR teams and implementing HR processes and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications are a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
