Deskside Support Technician
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Deskside Support Technician with hands-on experience in end-user support. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with remote teams to ensure seamless IT support and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deskside and remote technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Respond to service tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Support operating systems, standard office applications, and enterprise tools
- Coordinate with remote IT teams to resolve complex technical problems
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset inventory
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including device setup and user access
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in deskside or IT support roles
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/Mac environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable collaborating with distributed/remote teams
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL)
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
