The Manager of North America Warehouse & Distribution is the strategic and operational leader for a network of 12 warehouse and distribution facilities across Massachusetts, Arizona, Mexico, New York, Colorado, and Oregon. This role owns the performance of the North American distribution network, ensuring optimal safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, service‑level achievement, and operational excellence across all locations.
The Manager partners closely with the Sr. Manager of Global Distribution Continuous Improvement to build and execute the long‑term distribution roadmap—enabling scalability, automation, standardization, Lean transformation, and operational maturity across the network. This role serves as a leader within Global Supply Chain, supporting strategy, shaping operational priorities, and driving long‑term capability development.
You Will Make an Impact By:- Provide leadership for 12 warehouse & distribution sites across the U.S. and Mexico
- Develop and execute a multi‑year North America distribution strategy
- Establish KPIs, SOPs, governance, and reporting standards across the network
- Lead capacity planning, space utilization, and network optimization
- Help ensure world‑class warehouse execution across all operational areas
- Drive improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy
- Evaluate and implement automation, digital tools, and advanced WMS capabilities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, quality, and trade regulations
- Help support Lean, CI, and Kaizen initiatives across all distribution sites
- Support cost reduction, productivity improvement, and service enhancement programs
- Lead and develop warehouse managers, supervisors, and operational teams
- Strengthen leadership pipelines, workforce planning, and talent development
- Oversee proper use of ERP/WMS systems across all sites
- Drive digital transformation and warehouse automation initiatives
- Oversee warehouse‑centric 3PL performance (non‑carrier)
- Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and IT
- 10+ years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations
- 5+ years of multi‑site leadership experience across the U.S.;
Mexico preferred - Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business
- Proven experience leading transformational initiatives
- Strong leadership presence and executive communication skills
- Deep analytical and KPI management skills
- Ability to travel up to 40%
Skills:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Lean Six Sigma certifications.
- ASCM/SCPro/CLTD/CSCP/CPIM certifications.
- Experience leading operations through growth.
We are interested in a qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we will not be sponsoring work visas for this position, at this time.
Salary Pay Range:$109,750-$182,900 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus:This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
