PurposeThis position is responsible for entry level non‑skilled labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety rules. Performs a variety of general labor manual task activities including, but not limited to, packaging, labeling and assembly of finished products/goods within the manufacturing facility. They will work under close supervision and will be trained in various aspects of plant operations.
The focus will be on supporting the basic operation of the manufacturing process. Training will be on ensuring the efficient and safe production, packaging, and movement of goods. You will work closely with experienced team members and receive training in various aspects of plant operations. This position is ideal for individuals who have minimal manufacturing experience, are reliable, and committed to safety and quality.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Safely handle and transport raw materials, components, and finished products using various tools and equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Must be willing to stand, walk, bend, push, and reach. Lifting is required in many areas.
- Organizes and maintains an orderly work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth production processes and timely completion of tasks.
- Be willing to perform various tasks and assist in different areas of production as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
- Must be able to work in cold environments and on concrete floors (As low as 32 degrees).
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods.
- Exposure to occupational noise.
- Repetitive bending/twisting of body.
- Pushing/Pulling carts up to 200 lbs.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Exposure to high temperature water.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Position offers a starting hourly range of $16.50 USD.
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
