We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead production teams in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys being on the production floor, building strong relationships with employees, coaching team members, and driving operational improvements.

The successful candidate will be actively involved with both shifts, ensuring consistent communication, productivity, quality, and employee development across the operation.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

  • Lead and support production teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and actively engage with employees.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while identifying opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Work closely with employees to understand strengths, performance opportunities, and training needs.
  • Monitor production processes and address operational challenges in real time.
  • Partner with leadership to improve efficiency, workflow, and overall plant performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
  • Support staffing, scheduling, and shift coordination across multiple production teams.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and positive work environment.
  • Drive accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Previous production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on leadership style with the ability to build credibility and trust with employees at all levels.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing production personnel.
  • Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of manufacturing equipment and production processes.
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience overseeing multiple shifts or supporting shift-to-shift communication preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Preferred Background
  • Experience in packaging, printing, converting, or other manufacturing environments is helpful but not required.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams through growth and operational change.
  • Familiarity with production metrics, workflow optimization, and employee development.
