Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team at Haverhill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding

  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure

  • Assist with resident transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics and safety protocols

  • Help with incontinent care, including changing bedpans and urinals

  • Provide oral hygiene and denture care

  • Assist with medication administration and treatment procedures

  • Participate in resident assessments and care planning

  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care

  • Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and staff

Requirements
  • Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Massachusetts

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a long‑term care setting

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with moderate to heavy weights

  • Willingness to participate in facility education programs and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
