Quality Control Technician

Purpose Of The Position

• Support the maintenance and improvement of quality control systems at the SAFC Hitech Haverhill site and ensure their alignment with customer expectations/requirements and global business unit best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enter Quality release data
• Issue Certificates of Analysis
• Manage and enter quality control data into spreadsheets for analysis
• Provide SQC support through control chart generation and monitoring
• Write and/or review documentation to ensure compliance to all company or customer quality requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the advancement of quality systems and operations and meet the quality expectations of our electronic materials customer base.

Basic Qualifications

Education:

• Essential: BS/BA Degree in a scientific field of study (preferably Chemistry) or related science
• Experience/key achievements:
  Experience in industrial chemistry preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

• Experience in a dynamic, fast pace, multi objective environment
• Experience with SAP desired
• Ability to focus on specific, detailed oriented tasks
• Strong understanding of Excel worksheets and data processing

Critical:

• Good team player
• Enthusiastic and flexible
• Agent for change and improvement
• Detail oriented with respect to data transcription
• Proficient in using and editing Excel Worksheets
• Motivated to make a positive contribution through on time delivery of documentation and data entry
