Our client a precision manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer / Inspector to support inspection, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is ideal for someone with strong CMM experience and a solid understanding of machining and quality systems.
Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000
Location: Haverhill, MA (onsite)
Responsibilities- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Program and operate CMM equipment (PC-DMIS or Calypso preferred)
- Read blueprints and apply GD&T
- Manage nonconforming material, MRB, and CAPA activities
- Support internal ISO 9001 audits and customer audits
- Work with Engineering and Operations to resolve quality issues
- Maintain inspection records, FAIR/FAI, and quality documentation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in quality engineering or inspection within a machining environment
- Hands-on CMM programming experience
- Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation skills
- Experience with ISO 9001 systems and corrective actions
- U.S. Citizen
- Background and Drug Test required
- Medical device experience (ISO 13485 / FDA)
- PFMEA, PPAP, process validation
- Lean or Six Sigma certification
