Test Operator I-Haverhill, MA Temp to Perm Pay rate: $20 In this position, the Test Operator is part of the Test Services team responsible for performing ICT testing of customer circuit boards using established test programs and procedures. The Test Operator works closely with the Test Service Supervisor, Test Engineers, and Manager to ensure testing is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with customer and quality requirements..

The main responsibilities of the test engineer are:

Perform ICT and other assigned board testing using established test programs, procedures, and work instructions. Set up and operate test equipment and fixtures in accordance with documented procedures. Accurately identify, document, and report board test failures and other testing issues. Preform basic troubleshooting of test setups and escalate technical or equipment-related issues to the test engineering or applications team as needed.

Follow established testing procedures while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality. Work independently with limited supervision after appropriate training. Maintain clear and accurate test reports, reports, and documentation. Manage multiple testing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Communicate status, failures, and concerns clearly to the Test Service Supervisor and engineering team. The Test Operator must be able to work in a dynamic environment where there are often changes in priorities.

This is an onsite role and will be a temporary to permanent position after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period. The Test Operator is expected to have some general knowledge of the topics below;

Basic understanding of in-circuit test (ICT) and Electronic board testing. Fundamental knowledge of common components, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, and integrated circuits. Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including voltage, current, resistance, and continuity. Ability to identify common electronic components and reference designators on printed circuit board (PCB). Basic experience using common electronic test equipment, including digital multimeter (DMM), power supplies, and oscilloscopes.

Basic computer skills and the ability to operate test software and follow established testing procedures. Ability to accurately record, document, communicate test results and failures.
