Job DescriptionAllied Universal is currently hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Haverhill, MA.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM
Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training
Candidate is required to have a concealed carry permit and 1+ years of previous related experience.

Job Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic public spaces, verifying access permissions and reporting policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Support traffic and pedestrian flow during routine operations, special events, and/or emergency situations while following post orders and applicable site procedures.
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Allied Universal will subject applicants to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
