Field Service Technician – Material Handling Equipment

What You'll Do
- Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks along with working on warehouse storage systems, conveyors, carousels, and other automated material handling equipment
- Work directly with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges
- Apply and grow your mechanical and technical skills through continuous training
- Submit electronic work orders efficiently using a company-provided tablet
- Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost-effective maintenance.
- Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems (a plus)
- Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals
- Ability to communicate regularly by phone and in person with team members, parts representatives, technical specialists, dispatch, lead service techs, and customers, required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor and build positive customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent customer service
- Must provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools will be provided
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly
