Laborer; Highway & Parks

The City of Woonsocket, Rhode Island is conducting a search for Laborers for the Public Works Department, Highway & Parks Division. The person in this position would perform manual tasks in construction and street maintenance, digging, spreading, loading and unloading materials, the operation of air tools and other general related tasks as needed.

A high school diploma, or a GED equivalent, is required. The Laborer position requires thoroughness, the ability to perform manual tasks, and experience in heavy manual work are the qualities in the person to fill this position and must possess and maintain a valid driver?s license to operate light truck; asphalt experience is preferable.
