Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide front-line technical assistance in an education setting. This long-term contract position supports both students and staff by resolving everyday hardware and software issues with a responsive, service-oriented approach. The role combines walk-up support with on-site classroom assistance, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting and direct user interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver first-line technical support for students and employees by diagnosing and resolving common device and workstation issues
• Provide in-person assistance at a support desk while also responding to requests for help in classrooms and other campus areas
• Troubleshoot and support Apple laptops used by staff, including operating system and device-related concerns
• Assist students with Chromebook issues, ensuring devices are functional and ready for daily academic use
• Address PC desktop and workstation problems involving hardware, software, connectivity, and user access
• Document reported incidents, track resolutions, and escalate more complex problems when necessary
• Maintain a detail-focused and approachable support experience for users with varying levels of technical knowledge
