Ashley Addiction Treatment is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. The Dietary Aide will support the Culinary department in providing nutritious meals to our clients, ensuring that food preparation and serving meets the needs of those in our care. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting our mission and committed to fostering a positive environment for clients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious, balanced meals for clients and staff.
- Ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining areas, and food storage spaces.
- Support Culinary staff with meal planning and food inventory management.
- Work closely with the nutrition team to accommodate any special dietary needs or restrictions for clients in treatment.
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Follow all protocols for food handling, storage, and labeling.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving Culinary services.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Compassionate and understanding of the needs of individuals in addiction recovery.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
