Emergency Room Nurse (ICU/ER Rotating RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure emergency department. You will assess, prioritize, and deliver comprehensive patient care for medical emergencies, using quick thinking and critical decision‑making skills while maintaining composure in stressful situations.

• Conduct initial assessment of patients upon arrival, including triage and acuity determination.
• Perform ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patients, promptly identifying changes or deterioration.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per protocol with accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records with documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses.
• Assist in emergency procedures such as ACLS and trauma resuscitation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to enhance skills in emergency care.

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high‑acuity emergency department or ICU.
• Proficient in advanced assessments, interpreting diagnostics, and implementing interventions.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm in high‑pressure situations.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities focused on patient advocacy.
• Effective team player on a multidisciplinary team.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Proficient with EMR systems and related technology.
