Position Summary
0.9 FTE – 12 hour shifts. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support to providers within the Urgent Care setting. The LPN assists with patient assessment, treatment, education, and coordination of care while promoting a positive patient experience and maintaining efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications and ExperienceKnowledge/
Experience:
1-2 years of experience preferred or a new graduate from a school of nursing.
Education:
Graduate of a nursing school. Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities through ongoing education. Completes all mandatory review or education as required. Required to attend 80% of all scheduled meetings.
Licensure and Certification:
Current Montana State Board of Nursing licensure as an LPN. May be required to obtain IV certification. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification and re-certification every two years.
Aptitudes:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficulties. Possesses interpersonal and communication skills necessary for patient care and customer relations. Open to feedback and adaptable to changes in scheduling and department assignments.
