Salary Range: $36.72 To $45.90 Hourly

Status: Full Time - Exempt

Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer

This position is responsible for providing leadership and management within the assigned clinical department. The Manager supervises nursing and non-nursing staff, depending on the staff mix, within an assigned department. The Manager is responsible and accountable for the coordination of the operational and clinical activities. Accountabilities include quality of services, short- and long-range planning to achieve goals and objectives, fiscal control, physician and interdepartmental/intradepartmental relations, and personnel management.

The Manager develops protocols, policies, and procedures for the department, as needed. In the absence of the CNO, the Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for management of the assigned department independently. The Manager actively works to promote interdepartmental relationships, workflow processes, ingenuity, and creativity to support optimal patient care. Works collaboratively with the Acute Care Manager, Outpatient Services Manager and CNO to model and optimize team dynamics with the goal of high-quality patient care.

• Clinical experience, preferably in relevant area of service
• Ability to acquire a Registered Nurse License or Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• ACLS certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered

• Demonstration of progressively more responsible duties and/or previous supervisory experience, preferred
