Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety. They serve as a key resource in coordinating care strategies and supporting recovery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress, recording vital signs and clinical observations.
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active, valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate at least 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Be self-motivated with a professional, resourceful approach to nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
