Job Summary:

The Acute Care CNA provides essential nursing assistance to patients within a structured healthcare environment. Under supervision, they support professional nursing staff in delivering direct patient care on Med/Surg units.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and basic comfort needs.
• Perform routine clinical tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current CNA certification/license.
• Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care requirements.
• Have prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
