Le Jardin Academy is looking for a full‑time Facilities Coordinator to assist the Director of Facilities with operations management. The role involves coordinating vendor services, maintaining the computer maintenance management system (CMMS), and supporting capital and operational projects. Applicants must hold an associate’s degree or equivalent experience, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Kailua, Hawai‘i
Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director with day‑to‑day operations of the Facilities Department, including scheduling vendors, preparing agendas, and recording minutes for staff meetings.
  • Maintain tracking logs and prepare reports for monthly meetings.
  • Coordinate vendor and contracted services to minimize impact on daily operations.
  • Support the Director with RFPs, quote solicitation, and purchase requisitions for capital and operational expenses.
  • Organize and maintain all relevant records, contacts, and data electronically on the Facilities Team Drive.
  • Serve as comptroller and administrator in School Dude for Maintenance Direct and FS Direct; maintain user database for active employees.
  • Assign all reactive work orders daily to the appropriate supervisors to ensure timely scheduling and completion.
  • Provide friendly and professional front‑desk service for the Department via phone, radio, and email.
  • Assist with documentation for approved sales, trade, or property abandonment as directed by the Executive Director of Business and Operations Support.
  • Maintain strong communication with the Facilities team and customers to ensure collaborative accomplishment of work management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and word‑processing software applications.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in an environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to build strong positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Work independently and frequently without direct supervision.
