Hourly rate for this opportunity is $20.50 an hour.
Responsibilities- Greet all guests.
- Answer phone calls and use the guest’s name throughout the conversation.
- Assist guests with questions regarding spa services and products.
- Book, change, and cancel spa appointments accurately.
- Check guests into the computer system and charge for services performed.
- Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
- Respond to individual guest needs as they occur.
- Properly open and close the spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the spa facilities.
- Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours of operation.
- Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency.
- Maintain a spa desk bank.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, retail, programs, promotions, and discounts available.
- Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all guest requests, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well‑organized area.
- Work independently without constant direct supervision and remain at the assigned post for extended periods.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company, staff, and guest information.
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods, including telephone communications and office systems.
- Skill in using personal computers and various software packages.
- Basic math and money handling skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong multi‑tasking ability.
- Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills.
- Efficient and productive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Enthusiastic and personable, with excellent customer service skills.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Team player.
- Minimum lifting of 20 pounds; pushing, bending, stooping, and reaching required.
- Minimum pulling of 20 pounds; hearing, writing, and typing required.
- 1–2 years of experience in a spa or receptionist related field is preferred.
- CPR and first aid training preferred.
- Knowledge of all hotel departments and events.
- High school education required; additional education preferred.
- Knowledge of the local area required.
