Floor Associate

Gooses Edge, Inc. (Horse Hill Pond) in Mill Valley, CA is hiring a Full Time Floor Associate to support daily operations at our private freshwater swimming and recreation pond. In this role, you'll greet guests, check reservations, assist with check-in and payments, provide information on pond rules and safety, and help families and swimmers feel welcome. You'll set up and tidy guest areas, monitor supplies, support basic safety and cleanliness standards, and coordinate with lifeguards and management to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience in a calm, outdoor setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Verify reservations, assist with check-in, and process payments or passes
• Explain pond rules, schedules, and basic water safety guidelines to guests
• Set up, organize, and reset guest areas, chairs, and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including light cleaning and restocking supplies
• Support crowd flow, line management, and guest questions during busy periods
• Communicate with lifeguards and management about guest needs or safety concerns
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the pond facility
• Monitor for and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Uphold community-focused, family-friendly standards at all times
