The Patient Service Representative is responsible for performing administrative duties that support the efficient operation of the Dental clinic. Primary responsibilities include answering phone calls, responding to text messages, scheduling appointments, and collecting copayments. This role coordinates patient scheduling and ensures clear, professional communication throughout every stage of the patient experience.

Welcome patients in a friendly, professional manner; greeting them promptly and engaging in conversation.

Scheduling and confirming appointments.

Answering phone calls, voicemails, and responding to text messages in a professional and timely manner.

Address patient inquiries and concerns in support of a positive patient experience.

Receive payment and record receipts for services.

Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth front desk operations and effective communication.

• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Dental Services.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

Front office experience in a dental office setting.

Familiarity with basic dental terminology.

Experience with Dental EMR software.

Frequent sitting at a desk and repetitive use of hands for computer work.

Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Repetitive use of hands and fine motor skills for dental procedures and equipment.
