The Queen's Medical Center is seeking a full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the largest psychiatry group in Hawai'i. This position offers the opportunity to provide inpatient psychiatric care as part of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team serving a medically diverse patient population, including underserved communities and Native Hawaiians. Affiliated with the University of Hawai'i, the program combines academic collaboration with a clinically focused practice in one of the nation's most desirable locations.
Position Details:
- Full-time position
- Inpatient primary assignment
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Work alongside 23 physicians within a collaborative psychiatry program
- Clinically focused, academic appointment not required
- Academic affiliation with the University of Hawai'i

Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation is between $303,539 and $337,266 per year
- Guaranteed salary and generous incentive

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be board-eligible or board-certified through ABMS
- Active/unrestricted license to practice in the state of Hawaii

Where Youll Work
The Queen's Medical Center-Kahi Mohala (QMCKM) is a child and adolescent residential treatment program with 24 beds where patients typically stay for two to three months. The program provides not only therapy and schooling but also group activities on its sprawling 14-acre campus which features lush greenery, a stream, a playground, a basketball court, a ropes course, and a swimming pool.
Established in 1983, QMCKM serves as Hawaiis only free-standing, nonprofit behavioral health care hospital providing comprehensive behavioral health services to youth between the ages of 4 and 17.

Ewa Beach and its surrounding leeward (southwestern) coastal areas are located on O'ahu, Hawai'i's third-largest island. The area is a family friendly suburbia of Honolulu, approximately 10-15 miles from Downtown Honolulu featuring master-planned communities, shopping, and a rich cultural heritage. There is more sun and less rain on this part of the island.
