Conditions:
Fall 2026, Part‑time, for placement in lecturer candidate pool, non‑tenurial, contingent on availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Day, evening, or Saturday offerings, on‑ and off‑campus.
- Conduct courses in Plumbing Basics and Repair under general supervision.
- Maintain office hours of at least one hour per week for each course taught.
- Prepare required course outlines, syllabi, and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Integrate teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area under supervision of the division chairperson.
- Collect student and peer evaluations and complete annual self‑assessment of teaching effectiveness.
- Complete instructional assignments which may involve day, evening, early morning, weekend, Early College, and/or distance education classes, program outreach activities.
- Adhere to community college principles and philosophy.
- Work effectively with a multicultural student and community population in accordance with the Board of Regents Policy 4.207 III.F.1 and college practice of the open‑admission concept.
- Other duties as assigned or directed.
- Associate degree and 5 years related work experience OR
- 15 college credits and 7 years related work experience including training.
- Experience teaching at a Community College or equivalent technical training institute
- Journey worker plumber experience
- Licensed plumber
