Behavior Analysis Teacher (BAT)
Provided as the district resource, the BAT will serve students with significant behavioral challenges. The primary purpose of this position is to provide Individualized Education Program (IEP) indicated applied behavior analysis (ABA) services, supervise the provision of ABA services, and provide behavioral/educational consultation and support to schools and families.
Responsibilities- Provide IEP indicated ABA services to students with significant behavioral challenges.
- Supervise the provision of ABA services.
- Provide behavioral/educational consultation and support to schools and families.
- Valid Hawaii State teaching license (K‑12) from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.
- Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the State of Hawaii.
- If hired without completing a State‑approved Teacher’s Education Program (SATEP), the applicant must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within three (3) years of employment.
- Applicants must enroll in a Program aligned with the teaching line they are hired in.
