Salary: $3,606 to $4,563 per month (SR‑11, Step C to I). Hiring rates will be based on the availability of funds, the applicant’s qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Duties Summary- Perform highly complex library support work; supervise and participate in performing complex library support work; and/or perform substantive technical/paraprofessional library support work which requires knowledge of techniques used in one or more basic elements of library science; and perform other related duties as assigned.
To qualify, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Legal Authorization to Work:
Citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. - General Experience:
One (1) year of clerical work experience demonstrating knowledge of spelling, arithmetic, reading and following instructions, and accurately comparing words and numbers. Experience must also include knowledge of clerical procedures, operation of office equipment, and tactful interaction with others. Comparable experience to the Library Assistant II level is acceptable. - Specialized Experience:
Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a library, involving activities such as circulation work, stack maintenance, processing orders, posting receipts, locating and verifying bibliographic information, and using standard reference sources. Experience must demonstrate knowledge of library terminology, policies, and the organization of materials. At least one year of this specialized experience must have been comparable to the Library Assistant IV level. - Supervisory Aptitude (if required):
Demonstrated potential to perform supervisory duties through completion of assignments involving supervisory responsibilities, group leadership, supervision training, or favorable appraisals. - Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements may apply.
