- A master’s degree or a PhD in a relevant business area is required. Foreign equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution accepted.
- As an educational institution affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Church), BYU–Hawaii prefers to hire qualified members of the Church in good standing, as authorized under 41 C.F.R. § 60-1.5 (a)(6). To be eligible for employment, applicants who are members of the Church must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend and receive a clearance from the Church’s Ecclesiastical Clearance Office.
- Teaching requirement is typically 30 semester credit hours per year over three semesters in some (but not necessarily all) of the following subject areas/courses:
Business finance, risk management, financial modeling. - Scholarship, creative endeavor, ongoing professional development, and university service are required.
- BYU-Hawaii’s primary focus is undergraduate learning and teaching. The individual should be fully committed to the university’s mission (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and learning framework .
- Salary range: 113K to 135K.
- Housing stipend.
- Relocation expense package.
- Annually renewable contract eligible for Continuing Faculty Status (BYU-H equivalent of “tenure-track”).
- Standard BYU-Hawaii benefits package for regular full-time employees.
