Full-Time Middle Mathematics Teacher (Grades 6-8). Seabury Hall is seeking an engaging and student-centered Middle School Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026 to 2027 academic year. This role is designed for an educator passionate about problem-based instruction and helping students develop deep conceptual understanding and confidence. The position would potentially include teaching courses such as grades 6 through 8 mathematics and Algebra I, specifically utilizing the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum framework.

A successful candidate will possess the pedagogical versatility to differentiate instruction for a range of learners and foster mathematical reasoning through collaboration and multiple representations.

• Teach middle school mathematics (grades 6-8) and Algebra I.
• Implement the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum framework.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Foster mathematical reasoning through collaboration and multiple representations.
• Participate in student life, advising, and school-wide traditions.

• Hold a degree in mathematics or mathematics education.
• Bring proven classroom experience demonstrating mastery of subject matter.
• Show a gift for creating a classroom culture that supports curiosity, persistence, and productive struggle.
• Possess pedagogical versatility and a passion for problem-based instruction.

Salary ranges $60,000 to $75,000 and is commensurate with education and experience.
