The Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking a qualified candidate to serve in a Special Education Self-Contained Classroom that supports both English medium and Hawaiian Language Immersion students. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and a valid special education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.
This role requires experience in special education within a K-12 setting and the ability to facilitate Individualized Education Plan meetings.
Upon hire, an Emergency Hire Permit is acceptable, but candidates must enroll in an approved Teacher’s Education Program to continue employment.
