General Engineer

Duties

You will serve as a technically responsible engineer Program/Project manager with full responsibility for directing the day-to-day management activities covering planning, programming, budgeting, project development, and contract oversight.

You will be responsible for managing projects from pre-award to post-award executions, developing Request for Proposal (RFP) packages for contract acquisition.

You will develop construction (Minor and Major construction and Sustainment, Restoration and modernization (SRM) project requirements with users input, DPW standards, and engineering requirements.

You will visit proposed construction sites, review engineering feasibility reports, coordinate topographic surveys and engineer exploratory work, and recommend appropriate skill sets to execute the work.

You will monitor and coordinate the scheduling and accomplishment of the various phases of work to ensure construction in accordance with plans, specifications, schedule, and budget.
