Head Bank Teller

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Head Bank Teller

Location: Pukalani, HI

Pay: $21 to $24.50/hour (Plus sales incentives)

Experience

• 1 year of experience as an FHB Senior Teller; or
• 2 years as an FHB Teller cross-trained to perform supervisor duties; or
• 1 year as a Teller in another financial institution plus 2 years of supervisory and cashiering experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Rotational Saturdays, 8:30am to 1:30pm

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Head Bank Teller to join a growing and dynamic team!

• Knowledge of financial services industry — retail, mortgage, loans, deposits, and wholesale banking preferred
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with a calculator
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills required
• Attention to detail with ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines

• Teller transaction processing and cash balancing
• Branch operations oversight and supervision of branch tellers
• Banking product and service knowledge
• Basic mathematical calculations and cash handling
• Familiarity with standard branch operations concepts and procedures
• Customer referral and sales of bank products and services

• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Highly engaging, customer-focused, and goal-driven
• Pleasant and tactful with customers and staff
• Detail-oriented with strong judgment and discretion
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Problem solver with ability to resolve complex staff and customer issues
• Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
