Operation Hire Hawaii (OH-HI) is a targeted outreach initiative featuring an expedited hiring process that fast‑tracks qualified applicants into job opportunities throughout Hawai’ i.

Professional auditing work covered by examining accounts for the purpose of delivering an opinion regarding the financial position and operations of governmental agencies, individuals and business entities being examined.

Performs moderately difficult professional auditing work by conducting the examinations of smaller agencies or business entities or audit primarily one aspect of the fiscal work of both small and large agencies; assists higher‑level auditors on more complex audit assignments; and performs other duties as assigned.

  A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with at least twelve semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects.

  Experience:
  
  Two years of progressively responsible professional auditing experience requiring knowledge and application of generally accepted professional accounting and auditing principles, standards, theory and practices for the purpose of analyzing and interpreting accounting books, records, or systems.
• Driver’s License:
  Some positions require possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment. The immediate vacancy has this requirement.
