Overview
Massage Therapist - On Call / Casual role at Destination by Hyatt. The Massage Therapist is responsible for delivery of exceptional massage and body treatments, including Hyatt's exclusive signature treatments and core service standards.

- Provides professional massage therapy treatments or skin care treatments that enhance the well-being of our guests.
- Provide product, gift and treatment recommendations to guests which promote health and wellness.
- Facilitates the sale and purchase of products and goods.
- Performs inventories, as needed.
- Assists in setting up displays.
- Washes and folds towels, cleans facilities and equipment, maintains refreshments, etc.
- Maintains high sanitary standards, including performing safety inspections of spa facilities and addressing any deficiencies.
- Assures that required equipment and supplies are ready and in good working order.
- Is familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Works to create and maintain a welcoming spa environment that embodies the core values of our property and provides a memorable guest experience.
- Performs all tasks and provides services in conformance with policies, procedures, work instructions, training, codes of conduct, recognized best practices, safety laws and regulations.
- Interacts with other departments or contractors to assure seamless delivery of the program for the benefit of our guests.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on specific programs.
- Adheres to the “leave no trace” principles when performing tasks.
- Other duties as requested.

Qualifications- Possession of a valid Hawaii license as a massage therapist.
- Able to deal effectively and interact well with guests and co-workers.
- Available for work which may include weekends and evening scheduling and ready for all programs and activities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to perform simple arithmetic involved in selling products and making change.
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and application of wellness concepts and human physiology.
- Knowledge in the safe and appropriate use of tools, equipment, props and procedures related to the essential functions of the job.
- Ability and skill in using basic computer systems and software.
- Able to lift 25 pounds.
- Able to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Able to maneuver and control equipment.
- Able to work with and around chemicals present in swimming pools and spas.
- Able to perform all of the physical tasks associated with the spa treatments and therapies for an extended period of time, e.g., pushing, pulling, kneading, stretching, reaching, etc.
