KAU - IP REHAB OT Acute - Days (04/13)

Shift: Day's Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Contract Length: 140 weeks

Job Description:

To evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients either as Outpatient or Inpatient. Plan and implement an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician. Regularly update treatment plan, home exercise program, independently manage a full caseload, and knowledgeable about when to perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization. Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coverage in Rehab and Acute Rehab
• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients as Outpatient or Inpatient
• Plan and implement therapeutic physical therapy program
• Update treatment plan and home exercise program
• Manage a full caseload
• Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' work experience in Outpatient and Acute settings with adults
• BLS from American Red Cross
• Active Hawaii license by start of assignment
• Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health appointment on Friday
