Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist at Wailea People & Paws Pharmacy, located in Wailea, HI. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, managing inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Additional responsibilities may include formulating custom compounds, participating in health and wellness programs, and overseeing pharmacy technicians.
Qualifications
- Skills in preparing and dispensing medications, and formulating custom compounds
- Excellent patient consultation and communication skills
- Inventory management and regulatory compliance skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and oversee pharmacy technicians
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Pharmacy degree (PharmD or equivalent)
- Experience in compounding pharmacy or a specialty focus is a plus
- Must have an active Hawaii Pharmacist License in good standing to apply
