Medical Assistant

Open Monday - Saturday with evening hours available

As a key contributor to the Lanai Community Health Center, the incumbent in this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the effective operation of the organization. As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities are central to the provision of quality patient care. Beyond routine medical assisting duties, you will actively participate in the multifaceted nature of LCHC's role as a patient care, teaching, and research organization.

This role requires a dynamic and flexible approach to contribute comprehensively to the diverse activities of LCHC.

• Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in performing Medical Assistant responsibilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic clinical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Full-time availability with a willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the organization.
• Commitment to active participation in workshops, education sessions, and outreach activities.
• Adherence to LCHC policies and procedures.
• Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
