Travel Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Night Shift
Location: Hawaii
Assignment Length: 15 Weeks
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Three 12-Hour Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 15-week travel assignment in Hawaii. This position provides comprehensive respiratory care services for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and expertise in airway management, ventilator support, and emergency respiratory interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory assessment, treatment, and monitoring for patients across all age groups.
- Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support systems.
- Perform advanced airway management and respiratory procedures.
- Participate in emergency response situations, including CPR and code events.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding respiratory care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy recommendations as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
- Ensure compliance with respiratory care standards and patient safety protocols.
- Active Respiratory Therapy License.
- Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License by assignment start date.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Current PALS Certification.
- Experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Previous travel or acute care experience required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
- Critical Care and Ventilator Management Experience.
- Strong emergency response and airway management skills.
