Medical Assistant

Looking for an energetic, friendly Medical Assistant to join our great team.

• Patient Intake:
  Interview patients to record medical history and the reason for their visit.
• Vitals & Triage:
  Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and weight.
• Exam Prep:
  Prepare examination rooms, sterilize medical instruments, and assist physicians during procedures.
• Testing:
  Collect blood, prepare laboratory specimens, and perform basic diagnostic tests like EKGs.
• Medication:
  Administer medications or injections as directed by a licensed physician.

• Scheduling:
  Coordinate appointments, check patients in/out, and handle follow-ups.
• Record Keeping:
  Update and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to privacy laws.
• Inventory:
  Manage medical and office supply levels, restock rooms, and place equipment orders.

• Education:
  
  Completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program.
• Skills:
  
  Strong knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer proficiency, and excellent communication skills.
