Occupational Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

7 days per week departmental coverage from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 5-day work week and possible one weekend day schedule (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday). Hours worked per two-week period may be up to 88 hours. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.

The Occupational Therapist will perform diagnostic assessments and prepare and implement treatment plans to provide professional occupational therapy services for a full range of cases within the scope of a program for the habilitation and rehabilitation of patients. This role may involve providing all occupational therapy services for a unit, center, or facility, under general supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Provide a full range of occupational therapy services.
• Work collaboratively within a healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Handle other related duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in at least one of the following settings:
  Acute, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation hospital, or outpatient.
• Current State of Hawaii Occupational Therapy License (must obtain prior to the start of the assignment).
• BLS certification is required.
