Clinical Psychologist Position
Serve as a Clinical Psychologist for the Department of Mental Health delivering outpatient mental health services.
Provide individual and group therapy using various evidence-based modalities as clinically indicated, to include brief problem-focused interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and psycho educational classes.
Educate clinic staff on the principles of mental health via trainings and briefings.
Manage acute mental health conditions, providing crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
Develop, monitor and execute comprehensive treatment plans for complex and severe cases using objective outcome measures.
Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement initiatives, and clinical peer reviews to ensure standard of care compliance.
Conduct meetings and conferences to review the level of care for appropriateness of treatment in Mental Health and evaluate and approve referral sources.
