Job Description:
This position involves coverage in Rehab and Acute Rehab settings. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients, both Outpatient or Inpatient, plan and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician, update treatment plans, manage a full caseload, and perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization. Work may include state and federal holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in Outpatient and Acute settings.
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs.
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Independently manage a full caseload.
- Perform re-evaluations as necessary based on insurance authorizations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' work experience with adults in Outpatient and Acute settings.
- BLS certification from American Red Cross.
- Active Hawaii license.
