Call for Salary Rate -
Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans to improve patient functioning and independence under medical supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions and determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions.
- Re-evaluate patients regularly and modify therapy approaches accordingly.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
- Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records.
- Manage a full caseload while ensuring compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Hawaii State license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience working with adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Be BLS certified through the American Red Cross or equivalent.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using EMR systems such as Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize caseload, and adapt to hospital operational needs.
- Be available to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as required.
