Therapist – Occupational Therapist

Call for Salary Rate -

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans to improve patient functioning and independence under medical supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions.
• Re-evaluate patients regularly and modify therapy approaches accordingly.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
• Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records.
• Manage a full caseload while ensuring compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii State license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience working with adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Be BLS certified through the American Red Cross or equivalent.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using EMR systems such as Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize caseload, and adapt to hospital operational needs.
• Be available to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as required.
