Job Description:

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST(General / Vascular / Echo)
We are seeking an experienced ARDMS-registered Ultrasound Technologist certified in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with rotating day and night shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage.

This position will perform General, Vascular, and Echo studies. Appropriate certification in all three specialties is required.

The selected candidate must:

Be ARDMS licensed in General, Vascular, and Echo Be able to work independently

Be able to work overtime as needed

Be available to work at both KVMH and SMMHReside within 20 minutes of the hospital when on-call

As a rural hospital, we require a technologist who is fully competent in all three modalities. Applicants must have experience in General, Vascular, and Echo. Please do not apply if you do not meet all certification and experience requirements.

* **** AGENCIES MUST USE THE HHSC TIMECARDS LOCATED IN THE FACILITY PROFILE AS THIS HOSPITAL GOES BY AN 80 HR IN A 2 WEEK PERIOD TO DETERMINE ACTUAL HOURS/OT ETC. ***
* The orientation days. The first day of training would consist of HR orientation, (fingerprinting, reviewing policies and procedures, , etc.), safety orientation, risk & quality management orientation, in-services/education (Code of conducts, etc.), and I.T. orientation. The second day will be focused on electronic medical record (EMR) training.

The training on day one begins at 10 am with HR (or designee) then safety orientation follows so on and so forth.
