American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of adult inpatient and outpatient experience for an acute rehabilitation unit offering day shift hours.
Details- Acute care hospital setting providing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation coverage
- Adult patient population in Acute Rehab and Outpatient Rehab settings
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech
- May be required to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays based on hospital operations
- Active Hawaii OT license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults in outpatient and acute settings
- Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Independently manage a full caseload and determine timing for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements
