Overview

Located on the sun-drenched Kohala Coast, Mauna Lani is a resort offering contemporary guest rooms, suites, and private residences, Canoe House oceanfront dining, three distinct pools, a signature spa and wellness haven, and Kainalu Ocean Sports program. This role supports the guest experience at HaLani restaurant as a Host/Hostess and is the guest's first impression of our property.

The Host/Hostess sets the tone, pace, and vibe for the room with a warm greeting, eye contact, and aloha. Responsibilities include escorting guests properly, managing reservations, server stations, and timing patterns of our guests. This person maintains a complete working knowledge of the menu and menu ingredients and provides a consistent luxury guest experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Previous Host/Hostess experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• High school graduate preferred.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Tuberculosis clearance. CPR and/or first aid certifications preferred.
